com SUMMARY Directs and coordinates activities of workers in Delivery Operations to meet consumer demands with minimum interruptions to delivery by performing the following duties personally or through delegating to delivery team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction and support of co-workers and management team members.
Directs activities and work schedules of drivers, schedulers and dispatchers.
Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
Assures appropriate driver safety training and monthly safety meetings are maintained.
Conducts weekly dispatch, driver, and distribution meetings to share pertinent information to the delivery team.
Adheres to company policies for promoting business and excellent customer relationships.
Responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and overriding the Petrovend system as needed.
Coordinates the service, repair and maintenance of delivery vehicles and equipment with the operations manager and mechanic.
Directs activities of workers engaged in investigating and adjusting customer complaints relating to deliveries.
Responsible for generating regular reports on productivity and share with management team on a regular basis.
Must be available by phone during off hours to the on-call driver in case he/she has questions about a call.
Periodically inspects company vehicles for any damage or cleanliness.
Maintains communication within other departments to ensure all employees are informed of changes, etc.
Performs other tasks assigned by the manager to provide general support to company operations.
Assists in performing tasks of other personnel within the department as needed.
Maintains and promotes company brand guidelines and core values at all times.

MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises employees in the Delivery Department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to pass CETP 1.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Must speak fluent English.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

COMPUTER SKILLS Microsoft Office suite:
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
Must be an intermediate Excel user for reporting.
Must be able to run reports in all software programs we use.
Ability to quickly learn our computer software.
Use Google Drive and search the employee intranet.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
